Wezual Create is a local-first workspace. You do not need an account to use the tools.
Where your work lives
Project content, nicknames, answers and settings are saved in your browser’s IndexedDB storage on this site’s exact origin. Private saves are not uploaded. Using Publish & share explicitly uploads a public snapshot of the selected creation to our sharing service, hosted with Vercel Blob. The hosting provider still receives ordinary requests needed to deliver the website, such as your IP address and requested page.
Public links are a choice
A published snapshot includes its title, entries, names, answers and settings. Anyone with the public URL can open, copy and reshare it. Publishing excludes local completion marks, spin history, favorites and tags. Share only content you have permission to publish. Shared pages are excluded from our sitemap and marked noindex, but that is not access control.
You can remove a public link using its removal key from the publishing browser or a private JSON project backup. Keep that backup private. Removing a local creation does not remove its public links; revoke them first. We cannot retract copies or cached previews held by other people or social platforms.
Publishing requests use a hashed network address and timestamp to limit abuse. These quota records are stored separately from public snapshots. Hosting providers also process ordinary request and security logs.
Backups are your portable copy
Exported JSON and PDF files are downloaded to your device. Importing a project reads the selected file locally. Keep backups somewhere safe: anyone who can access a backup can read its contents.
Browser storage can disappear
Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing browsers or devices, and browser storage eviction can remove your creations. Local saves do not sync across devices or subdomains. Back up important work regularly.
Children and personal details
These tools are designed for parents, caregivers, educators and activity organizers. Prefer nicknames and avoid including sensitive or identifying information about children. Anyone using the same unlocked browser may be able to open your local library.
Analytics and advertising
On the production domain, optional GA4 analytics loads only after you allow it. Automatic enhanced measurement records page URLs, generic page titles and standard interactions such as scrolls and outbound clicks. Our custom events measure page groups and tool actions without entered content, names or answers. Shared-page browser titles are generic; social preview titles use the public creation name. You can reopen Analytics choices in the footer and withdraw consent. Local development and preview deployments do not run our trackers. Create uses the shared Wezual GA4 property; hostname reporting separates visits to each subdomain.
AdSense is configured for production pages. We use Google’s standard AdSense script and request non-personalized ads. Google applies regional consent and serving requirements; non-personalized advertising can still use cookies or other local storage. Google’s privacy and consent tools handle advertising choices where configured. Advertising choices and any required consent notices are handled by that platform. Ads do not appear in printouts, your local library or public shared-creation pages. Fonts are self-hosted.
Remove your data
Delete individual creations from My Creations, use its delete-all control, or clear this site’s browser storage. Download a backup first if you want a copy.
